  4. CMS Gopher - Viewing Files

  6. The item you selected is a plain text file.  You may browse this file,  use
  7. the CMS editor (XEDIT) to make changes and/or save it to disk,  or print it.
  8.  
  9. Function keys active are:
  10.  
  11.         PF1         help (gives you this screen)
  12. .cm     PF2         pass the file off to XEDIT
  13.         PF3         go back to the menu
  14.         PF4         print the file
  15.         PF6         find a particular string in this file
  16.         PF7         Scroll UP in the file
  17.         PF8         Scroll DOWN in the file
  18.         PF9         set a BOOKMARK referencing this file
  19.         PF10        go to the BOOKMARK list/select panel
  20. .cm     PF11        display host/port/path to this file
  21.         PF12        quit

  23. You can override the internal viewer by setting the Global Variable VIEWER.
  24. For example,  if you prefer to use the LEXX editor to view gopher files,

  26.         GLOBALV SELECT GOPHER SETLP VIEWER LEXX

  28.                 ... would cause LEXX to be used to display gopher files.
